RESULTS – WORLD BANK

  • 80 583 (68 819 men, 11 764 women) truckers, truckers apprentices, women and other port users have been sensitized on HIV.
  • 196 328 condoms (180 184 male condoms, 16 144 female condoms) were distributed) out of which 45 have been tested HIV positive and referred to care sites.
  • 4 685 (3 315 men, 1 370 women) truckers and other port users were tested for HIV out of which 49 tested HIV positive and were referred to care sites
  • Celebration of 2014 World AIDS Day (WAD) in the ports
  • Finalization of the national dissemination of the results of the 2013 edition of the IBBSS with the dissemination in Ghana on October 16, 2014.
